Tunisian Crochet 101 Class

Discover Tunisian crochet—where the rhythm of knitting meets the structure of crochet! Fall in love with the thick texture and beautiful flow that this hybrid fiber art offers. In this fun 2-hour session, you will learn how to glide through rows to create a beautiful, woven fabric.

We will start with the foundational Tunisian Simple Stitch. If you are feeling confident, we will also dive into the knit, purl, and reverse stitches. You will leave class with a handy practice swatch or the start of your own gorgeous coaster or washcloth set!

Note: Participants must have basic experience handling a traditional crochet hook (knowing how to chain and single crochet is perfect!).

• Duration: 2 hours

• Supplies Needed: Bring a 6mm Tunisian crochet hook and smooth, light-colored cotton yarn (weight 4 / worsted weight).
